The USBDrive is an exciting advancement in the personal data storage market. Due to its tiny size, large capacities, and use of the USB standard, the USBDrive revolutionizes the way people deal with large volumes of data.

The new, driverless USBDrive requires no software or drivers to operate. The new device will also operate on Win98SE, but because this OS does not fully support the USB Mass Storage compliance, the one-time installation of a driver is required.

Deepak found something in Macromedia Flash 6 you all should know about. There is a setting that by Default the web site can "Allow the web site to access your microphone and camera." you should turn it off.

If you need to transfer an entire hard disk to another hard disk, you can use one of several commercial programs to do the job. However, if this isn't something you do often, you might want to go for a freeware solution.

One excellent freeware disk cloner is DrvClonerXP. This program is designed specifically for Windows 2000 and Windows XP.

Make sure you read all the information before you run DrvClonerXP. Note that you will lose any existing data on the target drive. The entire drive will become a clone of the source drive.

Suppose a web page appears to hang up. Just click Stop and then click Reload. This will often open the page for you.

If you click Stop and Reload and you still have a problem, click Stop, then hold down the Shift key and click Reload. This causes Netscape 6 to reload from the original site rather than from the cache files on your computer or the cache files of a proxy.

A good thumbnail maker is an excellent addition to anyone's freeware collection. Oscar's JPEG Thumb-Maker is one that we've been using for only a short time. However, in this short time, it has become the only one we use.

If you usually build your own computers, or if you're thinking of building a computer, you'll need to be very careful about selecting the right motherboard. The motherboard is the heart of the computer, so you want to make sure you select one that offers everything you need with an eye on the future as well.

If you'd like your Netscape 6 to always start with the same size window, you can add the instructions to your Netscape shortcut. To do this, right-click the shortcut and choose Properties. When the dialog box opens, click the Shortcut tab. Now, click in the Target entry box and then press End. Press the Spacebar and enter (at the end of the existing line)

where xxx and yyy are the height and width in pixels. Click OK to close the dialog box and save your settings.

When you click the shortcut to run Netscape, the window will open to the selected size.

If you've ever wanted to size a window so the edges just touch the sides or the top and bottom of the screen, you know that this is often a difficult task. So, why not use some software to help size windows? And, if the software is free, so much the better.
